Joe Burrow is not worried about the Cincinnati Bengals’ 0-2 start to the season.
The quarterback appeared on “The Rich Eisen Show” on Wednesday and said the team is not panicking.
Burrow emphasized that there is a lot of football left to be played and that the team is focused on improving every day.
The Bengals narrowly lost to the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend, despite Burrow’s strong performance.
Burrow said he is feeling healthy after returning from a season-ending wrist injury in 2023.
He acknowledged that there is an adjustment period when returning from a lengthy injury but is pleased with his progress.
Burrow completed 23 of 36 passes for 258 yards, two touchdowns, and a 103.7 quarterback rating against the Chiefs.
He spread the ball around to eight different targets, including the tight end trio of Mike Gesicki, Erick All, and Drew Sample.
Burrow is striving for perfection and sees areas in his game to work on, despite his improvement from Week 1.
The Bengals will look to earn their first win of the season on Monday against the Washington Commanders.
