The Miami Dolphins suffered a tough loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, dropping their record to 2-5.
Despite the return of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins fell short in a game that came down to the wire.
Tagovailoa played well in his first game back from a concussion, throwing for 234 yards and a touchdown.
However, it wasn’t enough to secure a win, as the Cardinals’ Kyler Murray outperformed him with 307 yards and two touchdowns.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was blunt in his assessment, saying there were no silver linings in the loss.
McDaniel emphasized that the team needs to fix its mistakes and start playing cleaner football.
He also noted that no one will feel sorry for the Dolphins, and they need to take responsibility for their own problems.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill echoed his coach’s sentiments, saying it’s time for the team to start putting it together on the field.
The Dolphins remain in second place in the AFC East despite their struggles, but they need to turn things around quickly.
Their next game is against the Buffalo Bills, who lead the division with a 5-2 record.
